Located in the heart of River North, at 65 West Kinzie Street, DineAmic Hospitality added its first Mexican restaurant, Barrio, to the hospitality group’s culinary roster in 2017. A creative take on traditional Mexican fare with American influences, Barrio is a 6,000-square-foot space accommodating 200 guests indoors and throughout our 3 private dining spaces and 70 guests amongst our expansive outdoor patio. Barrio is located near the Chicago River, right on the cusp of downtown in River North.

Topolobampo immerses you in the flavors of a story. Sometimes a story of people and places, a time now distant, or even works of art that offer a glimpse into the uniqueness of Mexican life. Every story is deeply rooted in Mexico, and so is the food, though rarely does it resemble what you’d find in a traditional Mexican kitchen. Topolo presents Mexican cuisine through a contemporary, fine-dining lens, while bringing vibrant excitement and adventure that is sure to enchant even the most experienced culinary travelers.

Xoco—pronounced “SHO-ko”—is the Aztec word for “little sister.” But there’s nothing little about Xoco’s bold Mexican marketplace flavors. Open early and closing late, this quick-service café from Rick and Deann Bayless proffers contemporary expressions of Mexico’s most beloved street food and snacks: flaky empanadas, hot-from-the-fryer churros, frothy Mexican hot chocolate, crusty tortas and meal-in-a-bowl caldos.
