We create every Bar Louie with all of that in mind. It might not seem like an easy task, but we want to make sure you have a great time, any time you decide to come in. We could make it easier on ourselves, but we live for the quality and uniqueness of what we create. Our brewery is one of the only in-house brewing companies in the heart of downtown Chicago. We are authentic, original, and evolving, all while being in a historic space. Adams Street is where The Berghoff became an establishment, earned Chicago’s first post-prohibition liquor license, and served generations of families. As a tribute to the place that the Berghoff family has called home for over a century, the brewery is named Adams Street Brewery.
